Can filler migrate — and can it be dissolved?
A result that looks different from what you expected deserves assessment. A social-media photo cannot establish whether filler has moved.
Is every lump migration?
Swelling, nodules and filler moving away from its intended location are different possibilities. Ask a clinician to identify the cause before deciding on a correction.
Can all fillers be dissolved?
Hyaluronidase can break down hyaluronic acid filler. It does not dissolve every filler material. Non-HA or permanent fillers may be difficult to remove and may require other interventions.
Is dissolving a simple reset?
Dissolving has its own risks, including allergic reactions. The response and number of treatments vary; returning to an exact previous appearance is not guaranteed. Discuss the product, reason for removal and alternatives.
When is help urgent?
Unusual pain, vision changes or white, grey or blue skin during or after filler injection need immediate medical attention. Do not wait for online reassurance.
